Mark your calendars for April 27, the next Arts Consortium luncheon. Renee Brice and Shawn Benton will perform a demonstration in ball room dancing. Holy Trinity Episcopal Parish Hall, corner of Clinton and South Broadway, Georgetown. Lunch will include chicken salad, potato salad, rolls, with ice cream for dessert. Fourth Monday lunch with the arts!
“Art for the Soul – Food for the Body!” Every fourth Monday the Scott County Arts Consortium feeds soul and body with great food and entertainment from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Holy Trinity Episcopal House, Clinton St., Georgetown. In March we’ll celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with appropriate food and entertainment. For reservations call Donna at 867-7564 by Friday, March 20. Wear your green!
Robert L. Williams, multimedia retrospective
Announcing a new show at the Arts & Cultural Center, 117 North Water St., Georgetown.
Robert L. Williams, retired art professor from Georgetown College will present a Multimedia Retrospective, a view of his art across the span of his prolific career in the visual arts. The show opens on March 24 and runs through April 25. A reception to meet the artist will be held on Friday, March 27 from 6 to 9 PM. Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 12 to 4 PM. “The Muse of Music & Art”: Activities
Additional fun at the Arts & Cultural Center. Karen Eugenia Mitchell (LaBach) will be demonstrating her painting technique as she continues to develop her Jazz series.

First show of 2009! “The Muse of Music & Art” opens at the Arts & Cultural Center,117 North Water St., Georgetown on Sunday, February 8 with a reception from 3 to 6 PM An exciting show with paintings, mixed media, and ceramics will be presented by Karen LaBach, Molly Raye Sigmon, Paula Wojasinski, and Susan Bell.
